Life on Board
Facilities
Features
- Dining: Two large dining rooms offering either two-sitting or My Time dining plus a couple of casual eateries and a pay-extra venue
- Family amenities:
- Top accommodation: The Royal suite has a bedroom with king-sized bed and a living room with a queen-sized sofa bed, a private balcony with hot tub and a baby grand piano
- Entertainment and facilities: Refurbished in 2003, the ship is better in many ways but still rather old-fashioned in certain terms, one of which is the entertainment which can be fun rather than sophisticated
- Tipping: A rather complex system operations on RCI ships: tips can be pre-paid in advance (this is mandatory if you choose ‘My Time’ dining) or added to your onboard account or paid in cash when the cruise ends. There’s a 15% surcharge on bar bills.
