Pacific Princess

Pacific Princess offers a small, perfectly formed sample of all that Princess Cruises does best; she offers intimate dining venues that offer excellent cuisine and service, and cosy, clubby bars where inspired Martinis come with a side serving of cool, classy jazz. 

The interiors are rich, beautifully panelled and handsomely furnished. Beautiful works of art decorate this stylish ship like so many random exclamation marks. Fabrics and furnishings are cool, understated, and utterly hazardous to activity of any kind.

But you can get active in the gym, swim in the upper deck pool, maybe just take in the sun on a lounger, or enjoy views from the two Jacuzzis. With her intimate style and scale, everything you could want or need is close to hand on this perfectly primped Princess.

Her smaller size also allows Pacific Princess to get into the smaller, more secluded yacht harbours and islands that larger ships have to pass by, And this ease of access translates into a richer, far more rewarding travel experience all round. Enjoy!

  • Dining: Four different dining options on this smallish liner include two cover charge venues for which you need to make reservations as well as a couple of casual dineries
  • Club Restaurant is the main dining room, and offers up Traditional Dining for dinner in two fixed sittings, early and late. Choose your favourite, and keep the same table and dining time for the duration of your cruise. Afternoon tea is served in this venue daily as well
  • Panorama Buffet offers casual poolside dining all day, from breakfast, lunch and dinner right through to late night snacks
  • Patisserie

  • On deck barbeque offering up grilled fare including burgers and hot dogs
  • Sabatini's Italian Restaurant offers Italian inspired dining in an intimate environment. Specialities include pasta made freshly at table, and succulent seafood dishes, Extra charge applies, reservations required
  • Sterling Steakhouse features Filet Mignon, Porterhouse steaks and sumptuous seafood, served in a calm, unhurried environment. Extra charge applies; reservations are required
  • Private Balcony Dining offers the ultimate luxury of dinner served, course by course, on your own private balcony or terrace. A cover charge applies
  • Family amenities: There is no dedicated child space on the ship and a trained staff member is only available if 20 or more children are booked on a cruise, so expect to entertain your own offspring on most cruises on this particular cruise liner and note the lack of any electronic stimulus suitable for young people, note that the 2002 refit created an internet ‘space’ of eight computers for checking email, oddly tucked away in the Card Room
  • Top accomodation: The ten Owner’s Suites that have good sized living spaces, big private balconies and a bedroom facing the sea which can be observed through the full length window
  • Entertainment and facilities: Very much what is offered on other Princess ships but on a smaller scale with cabaret acts replacing the big musical shows of other ships in the main theatre
  • Tipping: There’s a charge of around £6 per day added to all accounts, even those of children, which you can adjust at the purser’s desk and a mandatory 15% on bar bills and your wine account in the dining rooms
