A party at sea onboard a cruise ship

There’s nothing quite like a party at sea. I especially love the party on board as you leave your last port of call, yes it is sad in a way as you know you are about to start on your journey home but it really is the best party of the entire holiday.

It feels like every single passenger is in the one location, all having a great time under the hot summer sun. The music is blaring, drinks are flowing and the flags are well and truly out.

No matter where you are a party is a party but a party at sea really is the best, I mean not only is it packed full of people and outdoors you even have moving scenery! What more could you possibly want? I suppose free drinks would be quite nice but then that’s maybe over stepping the mark slightly

It’s also a nice time for some light hearted rivalry if there is another ship in port at the same time, you can wave your flags and show how you are such an amazing time whilst their own ship is rather quiet and slightly less exciting. Ok so I know we are all adults here apart from the kids on board but it has to be done, it goes back to the “my ships better than your ship” scenario and it seems you simply can’t stop yourself from rubbing it in. Until the other ships sounds its horn repeatedly of course just to drown out the music

Nobody does sail away parties like P&O does, Royal Caribbean should take note, they haven't got a clue.
