Cruise ships are amazing!

No really they are! If you go back say 20 years ago did you really ever think that by 2011 we would have ships sailing our oceans that first of all could hold as many people as a small town and secondly would have full size fairground carousels on them!? I think your answer will be a firm NO.

The cruise industry was always left behind it seemed when it came to ways of pulling in that all important customer base, everyone that had never cruised had no intention of doing so because they were under the assumption that cruising was for the older crowd. Yet behind the scenes the cruise lines were feverishly plotting these new and exciting monsters to place in our oceans and make our heads spin with the choice of on board facilities. So is it fair to say the tables have turned? Yes, I think it is. The industry that was once looked upon as a constant black tie affair and ballroom dancing after dinner has hit the ground running in recent years and brought an entirely new face to the world of Cruising.
