Designer Shopping onboard cruise ships

My cruise last year had Cannes as one of its ports of call, what a beautiful place it was too. Quite similar to other ports on the French Riviera but with an added twist, designer boutiques as far as the eye could see

If you want to do some serious shopping whilst on holiday then Cannes is definitely a stop you need to make. There you will find Prada, Armani, Jimmy Choo, Cartier, Gucci and Chanel just to name a small few

I would advise a bulging bank account as it can be very easy to get carried away with your purchases whilst on holiday but if you want to treat yourself to a rather gorgeous bag or maybe some designer shoes then this is the place to do it

Everything you need is more or less in one place, it can be quite deceiving at first as the initial reaction is one of “hmmm ok so what’s here” as it doesn’t hit you as soon as you get off the ship. Take a stroll along the marina front and continue on past the world famous casino, once round the corner you will be greeted with designer shops galore

There are some beautiful hotels and other buildings nestled in amongst the designer stores, these are just as nice to see and worth a photograph or two. Just remember not to lose track of time as it is great to have all these shopping opportunities but not so great if you return to the dock to find your ship has sailed without you.
