Just being on the Ocean

When it comes to Cruising the best thing for me is waking up in a different destination every morning. I love getting out of bed, quickly getting ready and running out onto the deck to see what beautiful place awaits me. I also love the feeling of the heat when you open the door, it rushes past you with such force and you know you have certainly arrived in much hotter climates when it takes your breath away.

The feel of the ocean slowly rocking you to sleep on an evening, that for me is priceless although they keep building such stable ships it’s getting more and more difficult to feel it. Maybe I will start cruising earlier in the year and feel the full wrath of the Bay of Biscay, or maybe not.

It is so true when people say it’s not necessarily the destination you are going too for a lot of people it really is just about being on board the ship, the ship alone is a holiday in itself and everything you need is right there for you. The destinations seem almost an added bonus.

With 2011 now here I am sure you are all starting to think about your summer holiday or maybe you are already booked, either way the wait is counting itself down and we will be sunning our skin before we know it.
