No-Fly Cruises
Why is a no-fly cruise the best way to cruise?
Well for many reasons. Do you really want the annoyance of check-in times, the endless waiting before you can board your flight and the fact you need a small mortgage to even purchase a simple cup of tea from the departure lounge.
Another added bonus to cutting out flights is that you can be assured your baggage will not end up on the other side of the world and best of all you experience no jet lag. A no fly-cruise can also be appreciated during times when there may be airport or cabin crew strikes. Obviously this will not affect a cruise holiday that departs directly from the UK.
There are planned strikes in Spain from airport workers which are due to start at Easter, this will cause chaos for British travellers and will potentially ruin the holidays of thousands of people, yet these annoyances can be easily avoided with a no-fly cruise.
Cruise lines like P&O and Fred Olsen offer hundreds of cruises that depart from the UK and they have in place excellent services for getting you to and from the dock with the most minimal of hassle. Your every need is taken care of and in some cases you can actually receive free parking or coach transfers, you are saving money already.
Cutting out the cost of a flight and any taxes you may incur ultimately leaves you with more money to spend on the holiday itself. Sometimes flights can cost the equivalent of another cruise so why not cut out the flight cost and take two amazing cruise voyages.
Bullet point list
A UK cruise departure is ideal for many reasons and probably more that can be contained in one piece.
There’s no endless waiting around before you finally get to your ship what feels like three days later. Once you arrive at the dock your baggage is whisked away, no need to drag it with you half way around an airport.
You can literally check-in and be onboard your ship within an hour. You don’t need to wait in the departure lounge for three hours.
Your bags are taken directly to your cabin for you, you are not left to try and man-handle your oversized case whilst it is on a permanently moving track.
You avoid any family arguments because you are not half asleep due to jet lag
