What is a Cruise

A cruise means something different for many people. It can be the highlight of the year that anticipated 2 week escape from planet reality. It can also be an adventure that warrants a little longer than 2 weeks. Whatever it is for you though it is an amazing experience regardless for everyone.

What is a cruise to me? Well it is many things. I love to escape the daily bore of life and the little irritating things that come with it. My cruise is my escape, my time to relax and pretend I would in fact be on that ship forever. I also use it as an excuse to try some rather fruity and flavoursome cocktails, well I’m on holiday so it’s allowed.

I prefer a cruise that has a day or two at sea slotted in, I enjoy sea days as much as port days in all honesty. The surprise of sudden land when I awake from a peaceful slumber never gets old. There is so much to initially let the eye’s take in and the nose to smell.

If I were asked the question I have asked myself I really don’t think I could answer it well enough to have you fully understand just what a cruise is. To know this you must cruise, I can tell you about the most amazing sunset’s, how delicious the food is, how fresh the linens are but it would never let you escape in your mind as it would if you had been there and experienced it for yourself.

If I could get everyone in the world to try a cruise I would! Not all at the same time of course as that could get messy and extremely congested.
