- Brand history – founded in 1837 this line has a long pedigree and is British to its core with a host of features that appeal to a clientele that is predominantly UK based
- Signatures of the line – two kinds of ship, adult-only and family-friendly, mean that both kinds of cruise enthusiast are made welcome

Why Choose Ventura?
- Dining: Three dining rooms, lots of casual eateries and two premium pay-extra venues, East and a Marco Pierre White venue that actually welcomes children and copes superbly with them plus the option of balcony dining from the same menu as the MPW restaurant
- Family amenities: A very family focused ship, with Scalextric, Noddy and other very British acts and activities, also a circus skills active programme
- Top accommodation: There are quite a few family cabins but no real suites on this family focused ship
- Entertainment and facilities: Ventura seems to be moving towards a ‘stand-up’ style of entertainment that is intimate and more edgy that the big variety shows
