Infinity

Infinity is the second ship in Celebrity Cruises' Millennium-class series, and debuted in 2001 with a bevy of once-novel features. However, having recently undergone a fabulous modern luxury refurbishment, as part of Celebrity’s 'Solsticization' project, the ship now features more staterooms, more balconies, an expanded art collection and completely new decor throughout. Every grand deck is lavishly finished in wood and marble, etched glass and polished granite and the refurbishment meant the ship’s double occupancy went up from 1,950 to 2,070, following the introduction of 60 new cabins, and new Solstice-class dining venues were added.

The new dining options onboard Infinity include interactive comfort food at Qsine, Mediterranean spa cuisine at Blu, which is a lighter take on your favourites, and Bistro on Five. Food is considered by just about everyone to be excellent and the formal dining rules are more enforced on Celebrity in general and Infinity in particular than on other lines, so formal dining night is both a visual experience and a feast for the palate.

There are ample amounts of activities to undertake, as the ship's Aquadome and Riviera feature four swimming pools, two air beds, six whirlpools, bandstand, dance floor, sun shop, and grill and light cuisine buffet for post-swim snacks. The Sports and Sunrise decks contain a full-size basketball court, compact football field, paddle-tennis tables, and volleyball court, golf simulator, jogging track, and the ever-classic shuffleboard game, for those seeking to stay active.

However, if it’s relaxation you are after, guests can relax in the delightfully decorated Conservatory, which is located atop Infinity and is home to the magnificent Magnolia Garden. As ever, Celebrity’s 10,053-foot AquaSpa is equipped with a fitness area and advanced gym equipment, an aerobics area, beauty parlour, and 16 treatment rooms.

To keep in touch with loved ones, guests can use the new Celebrity iLounge, which is a one-of-a-kind internet lounge that is also the first authorised Apple retailer at sea. You can also participate in the iLearn enrichment classes, to help you master the latest photography, video and audio skills.
