- Dining: It’s complicated. Some classes of cabin have dedicated dining areas, which are not accessible to other classes of cabin. The dining room is very good, and the casual dining is second to none
- Queen's Grill for top level suite passengers only. Offers open seating for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a very exclusive, spacious enviroment. Off the menu orders are actively encouraged
- Princess Grill offers open seating breakfast, lunch and dinner in a highly styled, well served environment. Exclusive to Grill passengers
- Britannia Restaurant is the main, two level venue on board. It offers a classic dining experience in two sittings each evening; first is at 1800, and second is at 2030
- The Verandah is an extra charge, French flavoured venue offering exquisite food and service in a very select location. Reservations are essential, open to all passengers
- Lido Restaurant serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner in a more casual environment. Evening fare also includes choices from South America, Asia and Mexico. A small surcharge applies for these additional evening choices
- The Golden Lion pub serves up lunchtime pub favorites such as shepherd's pie, fish and chips, and bangers and mash each day. All dishes are complimentary
- Cafe Carinthia has free snacks and nibbles, and speciality coffees at a small supplement
- Family amenities: Not a great deal, because Cunard has never focused much on children’s facilities, preferring to please their parents
- Top accommodation: Has a real wow factor, while suites are smaller than on other lines, and the space given for storage is annoying limited, the styling of the suites is lovely with rich wood details and truly excellent plumbing
- Entertainment and facilities: Very British and very upscale – the afternoon tea is a classic, as are excellent musicians and the theatre which has private boxes for hire and the Big Band night can be a night to remember. That crew to passenger ratio allows for excellent levels of service and a sense of having your preferences remembered which counts for a lot
- Tipping: A minimum of around £5 a day is added to shipboard accounts for all passengers and there’s a mandatory 15% on bar tabs
