Those that don't cost extra include La Cucina, Tequila Latin, (tapas) and the 24-hour Blue Lagoon. A great point about the system is the electronic reservations beside most lifts and outside the restaurants – they show the names of all the ship's restaurants, whether they are open or closed, how full each dining room is and where the restaurant is located. Gem is a bright and shiny ship, with excellent children’s facilities and a beeper system so even two year olds can be left with the staff while you dine, but not for shore visits.
