Enchantment of the Seas

This is one of the Royal Caribbean ships that has piped music in all lifts and corridors as well as at poolside, so perhaps not the first choice for folk who find muzak annoying.

Facilities

Features

  • Dining: Two sitting dining is the norm but you can opt for ‘My Time Dining’ that allows you to choose any time from 6 and 9:30 pm or to just wander down when you’re ready
  • My Fair Lady is the main, two level dininng room. Each night, passengers take dinner in one of two, assigned sittings; first at 1745, and second at 2030. Passengers choosing MyTime flexible dining may dine on the Deck Five level any time between 1730 and 2130
  • Chops Grille is an exclusive steakhouse, offering premium cuts of beef, lamb and pork, as well as seafood specialities in a calm, unhurried environment. Open for dinner only between 1800-2130, $30 per person cover charge applicable
  • Chef's Table is available on longer cruises, and offers a dedicated, five course meal, each course paired with an appropriate wine, in an exclusive venue. Each food and wine choice is introduced by both a chef and sommelier. Cover charge is $95 per head, fully inclusive
  • Windjammer Marketplace is the casual self service on board buffet venue, open for all main meals, including dinner each evening
  • Park Cafe is a deli open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is a complimentary venue

  • Cafe Latte-Tudes is open all day, and sells speciality coffees with complimentary cakes and pastries
  • Family amenities: Enchantment of the Seas shows her age a bit in this respect. There are the usual age-divided clubs but the teens in particular lack some of the exciting amenities seen on other newer ships like Playstation consoles
  • Top Accommodation: For Enchantment of the Seas this is the Family Royal Suite – it sleeps eight and has a balcony that could easily sleep a couple more!
  • Entertainment and facilities: Her age makes Enchantment a natural venue for more nostalgic entertainment so watch out for theme events harking back to the seventies and eighties
  • Tipping Royal Caribbean has recommended rates which you’ll find in your cabin and they are prepaid if you opt for My Time dining. There’s a 15% mandatory gratuity on bar tabs
