Vision of the Seas

The 2,435-guest Vision of the Seas has a great choice of activities, relaxation and refreshments, which always manages to feel intimate. She has many of the expected Royal Caribbean features, including the seven-deck-high atrium, which here of course is called the Centrum, a funnel-side rock-climbing wall and a solarium with sliding glass roof, indoor pool, whirlpool and cafe bar. However, what makes Vision of the Seas so appealing is the design that uses lots of glass walls in public areas, so you can view the world's most memorable coastlines and ports, meaning you will never lose sight of the reason you came aboard. Whether you’ve had a full-on day sightseeing or a laid-back day in the sun, it’s good to know you’ve somewhere relaxing to come back to, where you can recharge and refresh in private. All the staterooms onboard Vision of the Seas are designed with the guest’s comfort in mind. They are wonderfully airy, extremely well appointed, and tastefully decorated in soft, calming colours.

Vision of the Seas offers the great dining options that you would expect whilst cruising with Royal Caribbean. If you fancy a cup of coffee or a snack in an informal, friendly café, head to Latte-tudes, or for a great choice of salads, burgers, a carvery, a buffet and a range of hot main dishes stop by the Windjammer Café. Here is a great spot for a quick snack after a session in the pool or at the gym, a laid-back dinner, or you can just take a seat and take in the view. Traditional main dining room meals in the Aquarius, which is a two-tier dining room made elegant by huge windows and a grand staircase. Royal Caribbean's room service options are available around the clock via 24-hour menus that offer a range of snacks and sandwiches.

For entertainment and activities, by day there are quizzes and deck or pool games, treasure hunts, port lectures, and beauty demonstrations to keep you busy, and in the evenings, the ship's Masquerade Theatre offers fishnet-and-feathers production shows interspersed with cabaret slots by comedians, singers, magicians and impressionists. Enjoy live music for dancing in the Some Enchanted Evening and Viking Crown lounges every night, whilst a pianist performs in the Schooner Bar. Vision of the Seas' signature Viking Crown Lounge, situated 150 feet above the waves with a 360 degree panoramic vista, is a perfect retreat from which to view not only the passing scenery, but also the ship's main decks, which look particularly glamorous at dusk.

The very soothing ShipShape Day Spa is an ideal place to relax and unwind. Guests can lie back or swim in the open-roofed Solarium pool, which is surrounded by a substantial pool, a cafe, and the ShipShape Fitness Centre. If you are looking to stay active, the fitness centre is the place to go as it is has a well-equipped gym and a separate dance studio, which offers a mix of aerobic and general fitness classes, as well as Yoga, kickboxing and Pilates. However for those who prefer fresh air and exercise to pampering, Vision of the Seas also has a sports court, for you to enjoy your favourite games, and Royal Caribbean's signature rock-climbing wall.
