There’s the standard MSC jogging track and mini-golf course on deck and a mega-screen cinema above the forward pool.
The Aurea Spa has a beauty salon and several treatment rooms as well as a gymnasium and a thermal suite with hamam, steam rooms and aromatherapy venue. The disco is loud and lively but during the day it’s an amazing place to sit and read a book or gaze out of the floor to ceiling windows at the sea.

- Dining: So far, Magnifica has not had great reporting back on dining, there are two dining rooms, a casual eatery and an a la carte venue, but it seems there may be service problems to be ironed out on this new ship
- Family amenities: Lots of kids on the first few cruises on Magnifica
- Top accommodation: The family suite has a balcony, double bedroom, double-sofa bed in living area, good wardrobe space and a smallish bathroom
- Entertainment and facilities: You either love or hate the MSC system which gives announcements in five languages and provides shows that generally don’t need too much language input
- Tipping: at your discretion at the end of the cruise
