Norwegian Cruise Line at Port Canaveral

From the middle of October an unfamiliar cruise ship will be seen at the Port Canaveral cruise area. Norwegian Sun is going to be overwintering in Florida and offering so me longer cruise itineraries to Caribbean . It’s the first time that an NCL ship has been based at the port and the winter route will continue for two years, giving Floridians and those flying or driving to the port to experience Freestyle Cruising for the first time.

Norwegian Sun carries 1,936 passengers and will sail alternate east and west Caribbean routes every Saturday. An NCL spokesman said that the Port had been an easy choice because there were a good range of pre- and post-cruise packages that offered cruise passengers the opportunity to visit a number of family attractions as part of their overall cruise package.
