Royal Caribbean offers cruise race

The Allure of the Seas is going to be offering a novel experience to customers taking a cruise in December. On 16th December the ship will be in St. Maarten and passengers on the cruise liner will be able to run a 5 kilometre race in company with so me high-profile athletes.

The sporting event – dubbed the Royal 5k - will cost $50 for adults and $25 for children to enter and will be the culminating activity of a holiday that will have been focused on vitality with such experiences as port explorations through group fun runs, onboard seminars and lectures with high-profile athletes such as Bart Yas so , r of Runner’s World magazine; Frank Shorter, Olympic Marathon Gold and Silver Medallist and Sonja Friend-Uhl, a member of seven U.S.A running teams. But you don’t have to be an expert yourself, guests are welcome to run, jog or just stroll the tropical 5k route.
