Musical First for Liberty of the Seas

Saturday Night Fever - The Musical has just become the latest in a list of West End shows that are currently, or have recently, been playing on Royal Caribbean ships. Liberty of the Seas will be hosting the show from April 2011 as part of a renewal package for the ship, which will so on be three years old. Auditions for the show are being held in New York starting on 20th October and the performance will be a weekly one in the 1320 seater theatre on board. Liberty of the Seas al so offers an extensive range of sporting opportunities including the FlowRider onboard surf generator, the H20 Zone water play area for children, a full-sized basketball court, ice skating rink, boxing ring, and a gym.

The 3,634 passengers who sail on the cruise liner can expect to see a revitalised version of the 1970s film which starred John Travolta. Other major musical extravaganzas on Royal Caribbean ships include Hairspray on Oasis of the Seas and Chicago which will be premiered on Allure of the Seas when she enters service in November.
