The new Royal Caribbean International cruise liner, due to launch so on, is being given a starring role even before she sails. The ship will be a film star in November 2010, as she’ll be hosting a film crew shooting scenes for the new Adam Sandler film, Jack and Jill. Also featuring in the film are Katie Holmes and Al Pacino, although it’s not clear if they have roles in the scenes being shot on board. In the film, Adam Sandler plays a twin brother and sister.
Then in January, Nashville singing star Taylor Swift will take part in an exclusive concert in Cozumel, Mexico. The concert, on 21st January 2011, will be a packed affair, passengers on the new cruise ship will be able to compete for tickets to attend the concert by participating in Swift-themed events, such as lookalike contests and karaoke.
Allure of the Seas, which carries 5,400 passengers, will set sail on 1st December 2010.
