Sydney to Hong Kong

Date: 21 Feb 2024
Duration: 20 nights
Ship: Arcadia
Line: P&O Cruises
The Disney Dream is the first new vessel for Disney Cruise Lines in over a decade.
The Disney Dream was welcomed early yesterday morning to a sky bright and full of fireworks along with a banner across the sky reading “Welcome Home, Disney Dream”. Mickey and Minnie were also waiting on the dock side and were acknowledged with the traditional ship’s whistle playing “when you wish upon a star”.
The new Disney Dream has an array of fun things to do on board including an AquaDuck, the first water coaster at sea. Other areas on the ship include Buena Vista Theatre, Cove Café, District Lounge and 3 themed freshwater pools.
The Dream can accommodate 4000 passengers and over 1458 crew members at any one time. She is 14 decks high and an impressive 130,000 tonnes.
Her maiden voyage which departs on January 26th is a 2 night cruise with a day at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas.
Disney Dream will then be sailing three, four and five-night cruises that visit Nassau in the Bahamas and Castaway Cay.
