Bahamas & Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral with Orlando Stay
Date: 1 Feb 2024
Duration: 11 nights
Ship: MSC Seashore
Line: MSC Cruises
Today is the day Southampton Port has not seen in at least 50 years. 6 Ships will today be in port together including Cunard’s newest ship Queen Elizabeth.
Joining the Queen Elizabeth will be her sister Queen Victoria along with P&O ship Arcadia, Fred Olsen’s Balmoral and Black watch and The Saga Ruby.
If you are planning on heading into Southampton we can confirm that Arcadia will be located at the Ocean Terminal, Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth at 38/9 berth, The City terminal will house Black Watch and Queen Victoria will use the Mayflower Terminal. Other berths for remaining vessels are yet to be finalised.
Up to 20,000 passengers will be descending upon the city over the course of the day and all ships will sail from Southampton between 16.30 and 20.00 so it should be quite a spectacle indeed. This is a very exciting day for the port and further shows the need for another Cruise Terminal in the city, the building of new and bigger ships on what feels like a daily basis is set to up the ante and hopefully bring more jobs to the city when building work starts on the new multi million pound terminal which will sit between The City terminal and the Mayflower Terminal.
