Carnival Passenger allegedly demands royalties

According to Carnival’s senior Cruise director, John Heald a passenger has allegedly demanded royalties after being called up on stage during a recent cruise.

John identifies the passenger as “Mr. Cloonpitt” and insists he is demanding royalties after being called up on ship stage during a welcome aboard show that was later aired on cabin TV’s.

According to sources the man was one of six passengers who volunteered to go on stage with him during the welcome event and at the time “he got into the whole spirit of the show”. However the following morning the man demanded to speak with Heald telling him that he must remove the show which was playing on cabin TV’s. The man said he was an actor and therefore was due royalties if the show was NOT taken off the on board cabin TV’s.

"Now I have cleared all of the above with the Carnival lawyers, and they have no problem with me telling you about this because amongst other things Mr Cloonpitt volunteered to do the show, and there is a waiver thingy within the ticket policies," Heald continues on his blog. "However, I now have to write a formal report about this, and that's got me mad."
