Costa replaces staff with passengers

Costa Cruises has come up with an interesting new novelty called “ViceVersa”. It is a unique experience for all of it’s “CostaClub” members i.e. most loyal guests to swap roles with staff.

On four company cruises the CostaClub members will be able to take the place of the crew in order to experience the thrill of being part of the on board staff. Whilst the new crew are having their fun the real crew will become the guests.

CostaClub members will literally step into the crew’s shoes, receiving training and real uniforms with the only subtle difference being a slightly amended logo. Once ready and trained up by the cruise director they will work for one day as crew across various different ship board positions. These will include cook, guest services, singers, waiters and more.

The new novelty can be experienced aboard Costa Luminosa, Costa Favolosa and the Costa Deliziosa. The voyage and itineraries all vary so check with Costa for full details on which cruises are actually within the programme.
