Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth made her maiden call to the Panama Canal recently and boy was it a tight squeeze.
The Panama Canal was not originally designed for such huge ocean liners but the Queen Elizabeth crossed in style. As you can see from the image the 90,900 ton vessel just squeezed into the allowed gap but like everything with Cunard the crossing was effortless and timely.
