The Disney Dream is firmly stretching her sea legs so focus now goes to the Disney Fantasy
The Disney Dream was the first new ship for Disney cruise line in quite some time, her naming ceremony and christening were out of this world experiences but now she is out gallivanting round the world’s oceans the focus can shift to Disney Fantasy which is due to sail on her maiden voyage in March 2012.
The Fantasy will have her keel laying ceremony in Papenberg, Germany on Friday. She is very similar in design to her sister Disney Dream and will feature some amazing on board facilities.
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts president Al Weiss commented: "It will be a sister ship to the Dream just like the Magic and the Wonder are, you'll just change some of the interior designs and spaces for the Fantasy."
Details are under wraps but it is expected the Fantasy will have an adult only nightclub and offer some similar features as her sister Dream. Al Weiss commented: "We just want to make sure we deliver the same kind of quality experiences that we've been delivering on the Magic and Wonder because guests rate those ships extremely well, we just want to make sure the same thing happens on the Dream first and the Fantasy next."
