I recently read that Steve Read a passionate cruise blogger and avid cruiser passed away earlier this week after suffering a suspected heart attack
The news has come as quite a shock and everyone at CruiseCompare would like to extend their deepest sympathy to his friends and family
I personally enjoyed Steve’s blog very much, he was witty and to the point yet charming with it at the same time. Steve was a journalist with The Sun newspaper for 23 years and also has a stint at Sky Travel. He was well loved and respected within the cruising world and he will be sadly missed.
Steve travelled on his first cruise at age 14 and since that day he has been a regular cruiser covering stories and ships from across the globe.
Steve was rarely far from a ship, he will be greatly missed.
