RCI Announces New On board Revenue Programme

Royal Caribbean has announced an exclusive agreement with cruise industry entrepreneur Phillip Levine to transform its on board port shopping services

Levine’s newly formed company Royal Media partners LLC will provide port shopping services, publishing in stateroom television programming and numerous on board media initiatives from October 1st on the line’s fleet sailing in the Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda, New England, Alaska and Mexico.

President and CEO of Royal Media Partners Levine said "We are very excited to once again be working with the team at Royal Caribbean International and to not only increase revenue for the port shopping program, but to be a partner in driving all on board revenue,"

The new programme will feature destination TV programming direct to staterooms. Passengers wanting to plan their shopping day at port will be able to access pre-cruise web based port shopping and concierge information along with live shopping talks on demand. Mobile applications will allow guests to retrieve real time port shopping information and specials from their own smart phones and other mobile devices.
