Streets of Monaco floating super boat

The amazingly rich could soon be able to buy the world’s most expensive boat, a floating version of Monaco

The 500ft long Streets of Monaco Yacht is expected to cost £700million and features versions of the most famous landmarks including The Monte Carlo Casino and Racetrack

Features also include the Loews Hotel and Swimming pools along with tennis courts and even a Grand Prix inspired go-kart track which can whizz through a tunnel complex around the deck

The ship is the brainchild of Yacht Island Design and if plans to build are put in motion it would transform the boating industry.

Company director Rob McPherson said: "It is basically a floating city. We wanted to show our capabilities and grab people's attention - I hope it's worked. The car circuit was the thing that sparked the whole thing off. The Monaco idea came from that. It's aimed at a very unique market and we are designing themed yachts. Everyone is going for the automotive-style designs at the moment but we wanted to do something a bit different. This sort of yacht could be for the individual but there's also a charter market that could be interested."

It has seven guest suites which include a reception room, bathroom, design room, bedroom and balcony. The Streets of Monaco can house 16 guests and 70 crew members but would cost tens of millions of pounds to run each year.

The owner would get the benefit of the main apartment which is spread over three floors, and at 4,800 sq. ft. is the size of a luxury penthouse. McPherson added: "The design theme called for a unique yacht that reflected the style and sophistication of the principality. We want to create a truly unique environment that could take the principality of Monaco to the ocean."
