It has been 25 years since P&O Cruises introduced their first music festival at sea concept and it has now become a regular feature
This year the festivals at sea take place on selected cruises on board Aurora and Oriana.
Oriana’s first festival at sea cruise will depart on May 3rd 2011 for a 17 night Western Mediterranean cruise, followed by a cruise departing on May 20th 2011 for a 14 night itinerary to the Baltic region. July 5th 2011 will see her last musical cruise of the year depart from Southampton for a 17 night Central Mediterranean voyage.
Aurora will follow suit on June 6th 2011 when she embarks on a 14 night cruise to the Norwegian Fjords. She then departs on August 28th 2011 for a 21 night voyage to the Eastern Mediterranean, with her final festival at sea cruise of the year leaving on October 15th 2011 for a 17 night Central Mediterranean cruise.
Both ships are very similar in appearance and do offer similar on board facilities. Oriana was recently categorised as child free however Aurora still operates as a family friendly ship.
These cruises are ideal for music lovers of all ages and they certainly add a touch of something extra to your cruise holiday experience
