Norwegian Dawn to get 58 new cabins during dry dock

Norwegian Cruise Line ship Norwegian Dawn will be fitted with 58 new cabins when she enters dry dock for almost a month in May

Norwegian Cruise Line confirmed during a webinar that 30 of the new staterooms would be inside cabins, and 28 would be new suites.

The suites will include four 667-732 square foot deluxe owner's suites and 24 family suites, ranging from 408-495 square feet, most of which can sleep six passengers.

The new owners suites will be on the front of the ship below the bridge offering "the same view as the captain", said Crane Gladding, NCL's senior vice president of revenue management and passenger services. He added that the family suites would have floor-to-ceiling windows and would be situated near the pool.

The work is scheduled to take place between May 1st and 27th at the Grand Bahama shipyard in Freeport. Norwegian Cruise Line also commented that there would be further changes to the ship whilst in dry dock but as of yet these have not been revealed.
