Ancient Mediterranean from Rome to Monte Carlo

Date: 5 Sep 2024
Duration: 17 nights
Ship: Regent Seven Seas Mariner
Line: Regent Seven Seas
On March 26th 2011 every cruise ship owned and operated by Costa Cruises will switch its lights off for one hour
Costa is participating in the World Wildlife Fund’s “Earth Hour”, the world’s largest environmental sustainability and global climate change initiative
Costa Cruises runs Europe’s largest fleet, with fourteen liners in service and two new ships currently being constructed, has been a partner of the WWF since 2005.
During the “ Earth Hour” Costa’s ships sailing in the Mediterranean, South America, the United Arab Emirates, Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Far East will show their commitment by switching off all the funnels and lights on the outside decks in compliance with safety procedures. The event will be celebrated inside, too, with a special candle light dinner.
On land, Costa Cruises will also be switching off at the Palazzo Costa, the Company’s Genoa headquarters. The big “C” logo illuminated on its glass roof will also go dark for the hour
