Norwegian Cruise Line plans Royal Wedding events

Norwegian Cruise Line will broadcast the highly anticipated wedding ceremony of Kate Middleton and Prince William and they will hold special dining events but, at a cost

The wedding is due to take place on April 29th and will be broadcast live around the world courtesy of the BBC.

Many cruise lines have stated that they will also show the event on their ships but Norwegian Cruise Line has announced not only will they broadcast the event onboard Norwegian Jewel, Pearl, Gem, Jade and Epic for free they also have special dining events planned however, these will incur a charge.

The Prince and Princess Brunch will be $15 per person and include eggs poached in champagne and served on English muffins, kippers, scrambled eggs with grilled lamb, toast with marmalade and fruit salad with clotted cream.

The Royal High Tea will be $10 per person and include an assortment of sandwiches such as the classic cucumber, scones with jam and cream, lemon curd sponge and a selection of other tasty cakes.

Norwegian Cruise Line also mentioned that fish-and-chips will be the special of the day in its ship pubs and 24-hour eateries, and passengers will find traditional English grub such as pie and mash in select dining venues. For dessert, wedding cake adorned with a Union Jack will be available in action-station eateries.
