Two guests from the Carnival Sensation were involved in an accident Friday that left one person dead
According to cruise line officials the guests rented personal jet ski’s a port call in Nassau, The Bahamas. Carnival cruise lines noted one of the guests was fatally injured while another sustained serious injuries and is currently in a local hospital
In a statement released by Carnival Cruise Lines, "All of us are deeply saddened by this event and extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those involved."
The cruise line also commented “the passengers identities will not be released because of privacy reasons. Support staff members were sent to the Bahamas to assist the passengers’ families.”
