MSC Cruises first departure from Southampton on May 7th was one not to be forgotten
The company organised an amazing onboard event and a group of local residents were given the ultimate chance to have an exclusive behind the scenes peak of the state of the art MSC Opera.
There were numerous people onboard including media representatives, travel agents and other VIP guests and they were all treated to a spectacular variety show onboard. They had flamenco dancing, gymnastics and jugglers all followed with a delicious 8 course lunch in La Caravella, Opera’s sumptuous restaurant.
The occasion marked the start of what is set to be an exciting time for MSC Cruises and there loyal passengers.
MSC Opera has various sailings from Southampton between May and September 2011 and then May to August 2012. These include destinations across Northern Europe and range from 8 to 14 nights.
