Eastern Caribbean & Perfect Day from Miami with Miami Beach Stay
Date: 9 Apr 2026
Duration: 10 nights
Ship: Icon of the Seas
Line: Royal Caribbean
Tropical Storm Emily is causing chaos in the Caribbean region after she cut through the Caribbean Sea on a north westerly path yesterday.
The Storm is threatening several islands and numerous cruise ships have rerouted from the Eastern Caribbean itineraries to avoid the torrential rain and wind.
Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis of the Seas has dropped her call St. Thomas and will also miss St. Maarten, instead heading on a westerly course. Freedom of the Seas will also avoid St. Thomas and St. Maarten.
Carnival Dream will also be avoiding St. Maarten and instead will spend the day at sea. Carnival Liberty will miss St Thomas and will also drop her call in San Juan visiting Key West instead.
Other cruise lines including Norwegian Cruise Line have said all of their ships are currently sailing as scheduled but that they are closely monitoring the path of Emily.
If you are scheduled to sail on a Caribbean itinerary then please check with your cruise line for up to date information on any changes that may have been made to your scheduled itinerary.
