In the not so distant future we will be graced with the presence of the brand new MSC Cruises ship MSC Divina
On Sunday April 15th MSC Divina successfully completed her initial sea trials. She spent three days at sea off the coast of Brittany, France, before returning to the Louis Joubert dock.
Divina was put through rigorous trials to ensure she performed to the full satisfaction of the MSC Cruises team. During sea trials everything you could possibly imagine is checked, from the speed and manoeuvrability of the ship to the level of sound and vibration. It is an in depth process and Divina’s involved roughly 360 people covering 60 different onboard tests.
MSC Divina will join the MSC Cruises fleet in the Fantasia class of ship, not only that, she will also be the largest in the fleet at a whopping 139,400 tonnes. She is set to be christened on May 26th with her maiden voyage departing May 27th. This being a six night cruise to Venice calling at Civitavecchia, Messina, Valetta and Dubrovnik.
Another truly stunning vessel to add to the ever growing MSC fleet. She will of course feature many of the lines trademark facilities including the famous Aurea Spa. She will also boast the MSC Yacht Club and feature 69 exclusive Yacht Club suites, here guests can immerse themselves in sheer luxury.
