P and O Australia Announces Last-minute Pack 'n' Go Fare

P&O Cruises has launched a new “Pack ‘n' Go” fare for travellers keen to book a last-minute cruise.

Available on select sailings, the new fares recognise that some cruisers have more flexibility to just pack up and go than others and are happy to make a booking with a short lead time. This was recognised by P&O Australia, who has launched these new fares.

Pack ‘n' Go rates are guarantee fares that allow cruisers to book a cruise “quite close” to sail date. Passengers will be guaranteed their cabin type and final cabin allocation is made within 30 days of departure. Full payment is required within 24 hours.

Don Clark, Complete Cruise Solution Director of Sales, said: “While most of our passengers book their cruise six to 12 months ahead in order to secure their preferred itinerary and their cabin of choice, there are clearly some travellers who make a more impulsive decision to holiday and book quite close to the sailing date.

“This new fare type recognises that market and reflects an international trend towards different fare structures for short and long lead bookings.”
