R&B singer R. Kelly has pulled out of the big music cruise he was scheduled to headline in October.
According to reports the three-time Grammy Award winning singer was never paid for a five-night “Love Letter Cruise” which was due to begin on October 1st on-board the Carnival Destiny. The five day cruise was scheduled to see Kelly play two shows whilst onboard.
According to US gossip website TMZ, a representative said: "R Kelly had been looking forward to the cruise and was ready, willing and able to perform for fans. He is sorry for any disappointment but plans to see his fans very soon on a U.S. tour."
Tickets for the cruise ranged in price from £645 ($999) to £1,930 ($2,999) Concerts Cruise who organized the event in association with Bling1 Entertainment have sent out e mails to customers informing them of the cancellation and they will receive full refunds.
Calls were scheduled to include Nassau, Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay, a private island in the Bahamas.
