Carnival Glory Heads Out on a Horror Cruise

How about this for something different at sea, the Carnival Glory recently embarked on a horror cruise.

It may look like any other cruise ship from the outside but inside the Carnival Glory is anything but ordinary.

The cruise from New York through the Maritime is designed to give fans of the horror movie Saw an opportunity to meet stars from what is now the most successful horror franchise ever.

The cruise is jam packed with avid fans who admit to not knowing how many times in total they have watched the Saw movies.

“They know every little nook and cranny of the whole thing,” said Costas Mandylor, who has appeared in every Saw movie since Saw III.

“And they ask intelligent questions … you've got to be on your toes. A cruise is not the place to do that.”

Not only are the stars of the movies on board but props are too including a dismembered hand and probably the most recognizable prop ever, the original puppet.

It may seem some fans know a little too much though and may be in fact putting the scares on the stars.

“We have a fella who's on board … who has too many details in his brain. He knows everything about each movie. The web of memorabilia – it's scary,” joked Mark Rolston, co-star of V and VI.

I think this has to be one of the most individual themed cruises to have ever sailed.

The gory Carnival Glory heads to Halifax next, and then back to New York.
