Disney Cruise Line, Disney Magic, will undergo a transformation next year as she goes in for a revamp
The cruise ship which first entered service in 1998 is the oldest in the Disney Cruise Line fleet and will undergo a transformation at the end of her 2013 Mediterranean cruise season when she enters dry-dock.
The ship's cruise director Darren McBurney declined to say what work would be carried out to the ship but did comment, “we are known for creating firsts in the industry”
.Details of the work to be carried out to the first of the entertainment giant's four ships are due to emerge in the next two months but will include a "typical ship-wide refurbishment," a spokeswoman said.
