MSC’s newest ship will be sailing the Med from Venice next summer. MSC Magnifica will make her maiden voyage in March before offering seven night Eastern Mediterranean cruises before heading to Canada for the autumn season.
Alternatively, Celebrity Century move to the Med in May 2010 to offer 12 night cruises from Barcelona. She’ll be visiting Cannes, Nice, Provence, Sicily Rome, Venice, Ephesus, Athens and Dubrovnik and she arrives at her new homeport for her first cruise on 3 June.
MSC will be the smaller, more traditional cruise with great Italian food while Century offers some American razzmatazz and more focus on fun and games.
