Southampton cruise experience centre

Southampton plans to have a multi-million-pound tourist attraction which will tell the story of cruise travel! Southampton's legendary passenger liners will be re-experienced in the £20 million Titanic and Ocean Liner Experience. It is planned to open in 2012 – coinciding with the centenary of the sinking of Titanic. It will be housed in purpose-built waterfront centre featuring exhibitions of many of the great passenger ships from Southampton's maritime past right up to the present day including RMS Queen Mary and RMS Queen Elizabeth, as well as featuring the dramatic story of White Star's ill-fated Titanic.
