P&O excursion update

P&O Cruises is promoting some 'once in a lifetime' shore excursions as part of its new offering. Gone are the days when you just climbed on a coach and listened to a tour guide telling you about the sights you were seeing before being hustled into a knick-knack shop to spend your savings on naff souvenirs. Instead, P&O propose region specific adventures such as driving a Ferrari through Livorno (think The Italian Club) or touring a perfumery in Cannes. Then there’s zip-wiring in the Jamaican rainforest pr snow trucking in Reykjavik. A spokesman said, 'We can now offer … experiences that simply would not be possible on any other type of holiday.'
