Australian? Artistic? Win a cruise

There are only a few days left of the P&O Cruises online competition especially for those in the Australasian region to win a cruise in a virtual ice-sculpting contest. Around 1,500 people have entered and the best entries are being shown on the P&O Australian website: www.pocruises.com.au. Participants in the contest have a ‘virtual’ block of ice and a choice of five tools to chip, melt and carve it into the winning shape. A P&O Cruises spokesman said the promotion was designed to demonstrate one of the potential experiences of a cruising holiday with P&O. ‘Ice sculpting is a very popular activity on a P&O Cruise …so it made sense to give them the opportunity in the virtual world. It is great fun, interactive and a very popular competition from the great response we have had so far’. The best sculpture as judged by P&O Cruises and advertising agency BMF, will win a P&O South Pacific cruise for two people. The top sculptures can be viewed online in the ice sculpture gallery and entries for the competition are being accepted until 15th August.
