Ruby Princess Sneak Peek

The world has had its first showing of the new Princess Cruises ship: Ruby Princess has been taking part in sea trials. The line has been heavily involved already in Southampton, but will boost passenger numbers next year by bringing its biggest and most innovative ships to the port. Crown Princess which will operate out of Southampton in 2009 alongside Grand Princess. But what have we learned about Ruby Princess? The 3,080-passenger ship will feature the lines signature touches such as a piazza-style atrium encircled by a coffee bar and bakery and wine bar. There will be a Crown Grill steak and seafood restaurant and of course, The Sanctuary, an outdoor, adult-only lounging area. Celebrity couple Trista and Ryan Sutter will christen her on November 6th in Fort Lauderdale. Who – you ask? Well, the Sutters met on the American ‘Bachelorette’ reality TV series and will celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary this autumn during the Ruby Princess inauguration.
