Why take a family cruise?

Family cruise holidays are fast becoming one of the best options to enjoy a break with your loved ones but without breaking the bank! Increasingly families have very little time to spend together and shore holidays can make this situation worse, with different dining times and large resorts that mean parents virtually lose touch with their children during an activity packed summer break. On a cruise ship, while there’s plenty to do, you can all easily touch base by meeting up at the pool or ice-cream bar during a busy day, or by enjoying a family-friendly activity such as karaoke. While there are video games, sports activities, classes and organized activities for kids of all ages, put on by the ship’s crew, there’s also the security of knowing that nobody can wander in, or out, of the place and there’s no risk of children finding themselves in the wrong company. Grandparents too, love to spend time with the family and while many holiday resorts don’t cater to the older generation particularly well, a cruise ship will have everything the seniors need to enjoy a family break.
