Cruise destination, Dublin

For the history buff there are the writers and artists who were born or lived there: James Joyce Jonathan Swift, Oscar Wilde, W.B. Yeats, George Bernard Shaw and Samuel Beckett. Then there’s the River Liffey to enjoy (and you can’t avoid it, it cuts the city in two) with its teeming pubs full of Irish music and friendly coffee and hot chocolate shops. For sightseers there’s O'Connell Bridge, St. Stephen's Green, Trinity College, and Dublin Castle. Then for shoppers there’s Grafton Street. Perhaps Temple Bar will appeal with its teeming nightlife or maybe you just want to have your photograph taken on Ha'penny Bridge or with Molly Malone as she pushes her barrow through the centre of Dublin.
