If you’ve already sailed with Norwegian Cruise Lines you can get some nice discounts on second or subsequent cruises – make sure you push hard for these as the actual onboard loyalty programme is rather lacklustre. Despite having bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels, these really don’t bring any substantial onboard rewards – there’s a front of queue right when checking in, and priority booking for reservation only restaurants, but you have to get right up to taking 14 NCL cruises, which is the requirement for platinum level, to get a free dinner in “Le Bistro”.
