Hurtigruten Cruises has land stopovers too

Hurtigruten has some great packages that include two pre-cruise nights in Oslo on all their sailings or two post-cruise nights in Bergen on the seven and twelve day voyages. There are also one night stopovers in Bergen and Kirkenes on the six day cruises. The city stops include first class accommodation, air and rail transfers, breakfast and hotel taxes. These stopovers ranged alongside some new optional excursions:

1. Scooter Trip in Lapland: snowmobile through the white landscapes of Finmark, learning about the lives of the Sami people and life along the coast
1. Kirkenes Snow Hotel: from where you can visit the Gabba Reindeer Park, and enjoy a drink at what is thought to be Norway's largest ice bar.
