The 1,900 passenger cruise ship, Celebrity Mercury, will begin sailing from Baltimore to the Eastern Caribbean and down the East Coast next year, offering 12 night cruises to St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Antigua, St. Maarten and Tortola starting in November 2009. It will also offer nine night trips to Charleston, Key West, , Coco Cay and Nassau. The Celebrity Mercury will be docked in Baltimore until February 2010.
Celebrity is the latest of several cruise lines that is offering trips from Baltimore starting next year. Carnival Cruise Lines will offer year-round cruises and Royal Caribbean and Norwegian cruise lines also have scheduled trips beginning in 2009.
